Tamarind Concentrate Cooler Indian Drink Recipe
A simple homemade tamarind concentrate is the base of this delicious Indian drink recipe! Refreshing and easy to prepare!
Servings 2 Serves
- 1 tsp Tamarind paste
- 1 pinch Black Salt
- 1 tsp Roasted cumin powder
- A Few Pomegranate
- A Few Mint sprig
- 2-3 Ice cubes
- Drinking soda or plain water
In a non-stick pan, add 3 cups of water. Add the tamarind paste andlet it boil for about 5 minutes
Once done, let the liquid mixture cool down to room temperature.
Once it has cooled down, add the roasted cumin powder and black salt.
For assembly, take a glass and fill it with ice cubes. Next pour the tamarind cooler. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and mint leaves before serving.
You can add a few drops of lemon juice to your drink if you enjoy a tangy twist.
For people who enjoy sweetness, 2 tbsps of sugar can be added in the boiling step.
