Instructions
Take a deep-bottomed vessel and put it on medium flame.
Add the coconut milk, garlic paste, green chilies, sliced onions, turmeric powder, curry leaves, fenugreek seeds, and bring everything to a boil.
2 cups Coconut milk,
½ cup Onion,
2-3 pcs Green chilies,
1 tsp Garlic paste,
1 tsp Turmeric powder,
1 sprig Curry leaves,
½ tsp Fenugreek seeds
Let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Add the salt and lemon juice next and mix well.
2 tsp Lemon juice,
1 tsp Salt
Allow the mixture to simmer for another minute.
Kiri Hodi is ready. Serve it hot with plain rice or a mild pulao.
Notes
If the coconut milk is too thick, you can add a bit of water to bring it to your desired consistency.
